About Me

HI I’M AARON, founder of Down to recruit

Fun fact: there are more recruiters on LinkedIn than bogies in a child’s ball pit (and I should know, as I’m both a recruiter and a parent).

Recruitment has changed over the last 5 years – clients want to work with somebody they can trust, a real partner who ‘gets’ their business, their culture and what it is they’re hoping to achieve. Being independent, I get to choose which companies I work with – I’m able to spend significant time at the front end to understand what it is that makes them different and why a candidate should join them. I don’t just ‘take an order’ and crack on with a generic search, hoping to stumble on the right candidate. I take a quality over quantity approach and my clients value this which in turn, motivates me to do a great job.
